Watching the news coverage of the Tsunami in Southeast Asia has been quite difficult over the past few days. As the loss of life steadily grows, I find myself overwhelmed by the difficulty in comprehending over 3,000 miles of death and destruction. Yet many survivors have found the inner strength to put one foot in front of the other and continue the task of living, often by helping each other.
My way of dealing with this worldwide tragedy is to contribute to the UNICEF Asian Disaster Fund. I hope others did the same.
