With a little taste of wilderness only a short walk away, we decided head to Ijams Nature Center for a Sunday afternoon hike. Hiking has become almost foreign to us. Last time we saw a trail was January for a winter backpack. The legs are sorely out of hiking shape and the best backpacking season is only a couple of months away. The clock is ticking on our fitness…
We hiked a little over 4 miles, through the forest and along the Tennessee River. A couple of runners on the trail and one guy with a ton of photography equipment. It was a pleasant way to spent a bit of Sunday afternoon.
