Spent a cool, rainy morning with a lot of really great people at the Knoxville Marathon Expo, both volunteers and runners! We had a lot of fun, especially with the new racers who will run their first 5k in the morning. Very exciting!

I worked the 5k table too. The lady to my left (standing) is running the marathon tomorrow, she and her husband are in training for a 50k in Austria in June.
The local Fleet Feet store did a big business today, clothes were flying off the rack!
RACEDAYEVENTS is an events service, managing a number of area sports events involving bicycling, running and tris. The management group hosts a series of tris called “the pool” series, which are sprint tris geared toward new triathletes. The series begins in April and ends in late August. I picked up some info on the pool tri I am contemplating….still working on the swim!
