Today is cool and overcast, just perfect for working in the yard. I pulled out some of my favorite toys (lawn mower, pitchfork, pruners and rake) and spent the day mowing, pruning, mulching and raking oak leaves out of my gardens… generally neatening up the place. Amazing how quickly the day disappears when engrossed in work with the hands. Also amazing how easy it is to push out thoughts of this morning’s estimate for replacing my roof! Ugh…
