I went outside today and discovered the ash tree in my yard had dropped most of its leaves. It appears that fall arrived while I wasn’t paying attention!
The ash tree is not known for showy fall color. With very little fanfare, these leaves faded to dirty yellow, dropped to the ground and are patiently waiting to be raked!
Variegated solomon seal is also showing the effects of the cooler fall weather. Soon the leaves will disappear until next spring.
