After a year of little participation in Sierra Club board meetings and activities, I attended yesterday’s annual planning retreat as a regular “member”. This is the first year since 1998, that I have not served on the board but work related travel has resulted in many misses of board obligations. I enjoyed the meeting, chatting with people I haven’t seen in a while and of course the potluck dinner, which was delish. Too bad for the people who wimped out early and went home directly after the meeting.
