Dinner at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Knoxville capped off our holiday festivities. It was a quiet affair, we were all pretty tired. Carol, Leslie, Daddy and I dined on the traditional turkey, cornbread stuffing, green beans, potatoes and cranberry sauce. For the evening entertainment, we watched a number of gentlemen and ladies adorned in elegant saris walk up the hotel’s grand staircase to a 2nd floor ballroom. An Indian wedding was taking place in the hotel and the attendees were dressed to impress. What a spectacular array of beautiful fabrics!
