Another excellent backpack weekend thwarted by demands on the home front, probably the last good weekend of the fall season. We had our hike picked, dinner menu planned and our packs (at least mine) halfway packed. We also had the good sense to call the trip off and stay at home to work on a project that I am dragging out too long. So, we built our first fire of the ’06-’07 winter season, turned on the University of TN, LSU football game (ouch!) and worked on the still uncompleted project. Oh well, there will be another fall next year!
