Today is Leslie and Mike’s wedding day. Family and friends gathered in the home of the bride and groom to celebrate the exchange of vows and share in the beginning of their new life together. Everyone had a wonderful time! As I sorted through the many photos I took, I discovered most are of the Smiths on the brides side…my apologies to the Smiths on the groom’s side.

Pre-ceremony, Mike, Daddy and Uncle Joe in the hallway. They have been busy putting CD’s in the player for background music before the harpist arrives.

Gazing through the telescope and out the window at the wind turbines on Buffalo Mountain, a county or two away (aka, killing time before the wedding). Mike and Leslie’s house sits on a large hill with an incredible view through several oversized windows in the living room. From left, Daddy, Uncle Joe and Mike.

The radiant bride rushes through the door, a new hairdo to show off and veil in hand. Let’s get this wedding started!

Carol pins a corsage on Mother.

The father of the bride (left) and father of the groom (right) gaze through the window, chatting before the wedding. Everyone enjoyed gazing outside through Mike and Leslie’s windows on the world.

Daddy and me…isn’t he handsome!!

My beautiful, radiant sister!

Oh so happy on her wedding day!

Sisters sharing a laugh.

Three sisters!

A very proud father and his daughter before the walk down the aisle.

Mother’s youngest sister Sue and her husband (our uncle) Joe.

John and me…no, we did not take the offer to utilize the minister’s services before he left.

Daddy, Mother, Sue (face hidden) and Joe, posing for pictures for the photographer (not me, the real photographer).

Carol and Janet. We figure that Carol and Janet have been friends for about 44 years. That’s a long time to maintain a friendship.

Leslie sharing a few words with her mother.

The bride and groom take a small rest between talking to their guests. Congratulations Leslie and Mike!
