While digging through some of my mail from this week, I discovered Gov. Phil Bredesen’s picture starring back at me from the January 31, 2005 copy of “The New Republic.” The lead line reads “Southern Man, Is Phil Bredesen the Future of the Democratic Party or the Last of a Dying Breed?” (article by Clay Risen). Hmmm Bredesen versus Frist in 2008? Tennessee versus Tennessee, I like it! I will give the article a read and report!
